OK,before the promised pics,Ill say this about the game.
Its very quest driven, this is were you will get most of your xp
You have about as much control over your chars looks as you did with Wow
There does appear to be a rich storyline going on around you if you pay attention to it.
So far im finding it an enjoyable game

I beta'ed the game and I must say is was absolutely by far the best game in terms of pure enjoyment leveling. There was never any bordom (except maybe the pie runs!). It was actually faster to level via quests... even the ones where you didn't kill anything. The only thing I didn't like about it was the addition of the party attacks, much like EQ2's system. And even worse... were only really used by the burgler (or whatever it was).

At an early stage I didn't see much chance that the game would have any real end-game content, as once they've exhausted the use of all the big shots from the books... where do the turn for expansion?

I did like the skill leveling system... the more you used a certain skill the better it got, ect. (Hell, if WoW had that system my healthstones from back in the day 40 man raiding would be GODLY) Cheesy

I would take a skill based system over a class based system any day of the week and twice on Sunday.  It is a superior system by far.

Well, it's no where near as skill based as UO... there are classes for sure. But your skills themselves got better I believe as you used them.

Or maybe it was something else, if I remember now... I think there were upgrades you got for using a certain skill a certain amount of times. I forget exactly.

/agree 100%

If UO came back, pre-Felucia/Trammel, I'd quit any other game.
